星期天早上學校發生了自殺事件... 一個很年輕的英國女生，從二十樓往下跳，有人說有聽到淒厲的尖叫聲...喊著一個名字：？ 聽到時候很難過，不知道他為什麼跳樓？也不知道為什麼臨死前會有這麼淒厲的慘叫聲？ 我就住在那棟樓的對面，窗戶打開都可以看到已經被封起來的20樓窗戶。 今天，收信的時候，收到學校寄來的這封信！ Dear all students, As you will now be aware an Aston student was involved in a tragic incident on campus on Sunday morning. The Students' Guild is trying to do everything possible to pay their respects and help to comfort students who have been affected by the tragedy. The way everyone handled themselves on the Pub Crawl last night at a time of great grief and shock was a credit to you and to the name of Aston University and it highlighted the community spirit that we have here. Black armbands were worn by everyone as a mark of respect for the student. On Wednesday the annual event, 'The Ashes' takes place at the Aston University Recreation Centre. This is where Aston Hockey and Lacrosse teams play each other at both sports. This is going to be held as a celebration of the student's life. There will be a minute's silence before it starts. We want it to be a celebration of life at Aston and an opportunity for people to come down and watch some sport for the afternoon. There will be free coaches provided to transport you to the event should you wish to attend. If you could send me an email to let me know that you will be coming then that would be helpful for transport arrangements. At Pounded on Wednesday night we will be holding a minute's silence at midnight and there will be a memorial book in the Foyer for people to write tributes.
